On 02-03-2018, Kawasaki launched younger sibling on Ninja ZX10R for the price of RS. 4,69,000 ex-showroom Delhi.
On the launching event of the bike, Yutaka Yamashita, Managing Director of Kawasaki India said: ” Ninja 400 is for those who are looking to buy a sports bike under 5 Lakh Rupees”. Also said Ninja 300 is actually built for beginner bikers and Ninja 650 is for experienced bikers.
It will fulfill the requirement of the wide range of bikers, who actually wants a lightweight and high-performance bike.
Kawasaki is known for its build quality. it comes with high-performance parallel twin engine on trellis frame. Trellis frame is known for the rigid and lightweight frame. Because of trellis frame, you will feel confident and relaxed on the bike. Its sporty riding position is best for fun and easy to ride.
As per Kawasaki, The all-new Ninja 400 delivers high power with controllability. Ninja 400 has more possibility to compete with elder siblings like Ninja 650 because of large air intake box with raw low-end torque. Which will be fun for experienced bikers.
It comes with a 6-speed transmission with 399 cc engine, which produces 49 PS power and 38 NM of torque at 8,000 rpm. Ninja 400 is 5mm longer than Ninja 300 and 10 mm higher. Ground clearance and seating are same 140 & 785 respectively.
Ninja 400 has 14 liters fuel tank. which means you need to refuel frequently as compare to Ninja 300. Breaking will be easy because of Nissin ABS and 2 pistons 310 mm Front disc and rear 220 mm disc. Ninja 400 tail is inspired by Ninja ZX10R and equipped with same Ninja 650’s instrument cluster.
It will be assembled in Kawasaki’s Chakan plant and will be available in lime green color with KRT edition.
